Behind the cable car is the Renaissance
Stanford Court Hotel at California & Powell.

And completing this early hotel tour is the Westin St. Francis Hotel on Powell Street at Union Square.

This was at 2700 Vallejo Street at Divisadero in Pacific Heights.

The "Daniels Hotel" — actually the Kennedy Hotel — was at the end of Howard Street at the Embarcadero.

The hospital scenes were filmed at San Francisco
General Hospital, 1001 Potrero Avenue.

Bullitt's home was on the south side of Clay Street, just east of Taylor. This view is looking east on Clay.

These are pictures from Grace Cathedral Episcopal Church, 1100 California Street. Look closely at the top of the second picture. Yes, that is a gas station — on top of Nob Hill! This was a Phillips Union 76 station, located where the Gramercy Towers Condominiums are now located at 1177 California at Jones. The gas station was destroyed around 1972 when construction began on what was originally supposed to be a Hyatt Hotel, until they were able to build the Embarcadero Hyatt instead.

The famous car-chase scene begans here at the base of Bernal Heights. Here, Bullitt is making a u-turn on Army Street (now Cesar Chavez), just east of Bryant.

The scene soon shifts to here,
eastbound Filbert Street at Mason.

This is the corner of Columbus and Vallejo.

The cars are now going downhill on northbound Taylor Street.

That's San Francisco City College's
Chinatown Campus, 940 Filbert Street.

Now, the chase cuts to the Marina District. The first picture has the Fort Mason Center
in the background and the other has the Marina Safeway store.

The 1968 GT390 Bullitt on Marina Boulevard.

Instead of getting to the Golden Gate Bridge, as one might expect (filming, apparently, wasn't allowed on the Bridge since they would have needed to close it temporarily), the film cuts to McLaren Park's Mansell Street, just west of University.

We now cut to Guadalupe Canyon Parkway which cuts from Brisbane to Daly City.

Originally the Thunderbird Hotel, this is now the
Clarion Hotel at 401 East Millbrae Avenue

This is at the Candlestick Park exit ramp from Highway 101.
